Melusi Buthelezi’s career has taken a sharp upward trajectory since making his top flight debut in February 2022, having been capped by Bafana Bafana as well as rising to become the first-choice option between the sticks for his former Club, TS Galaxy.
The talented shot-stopper was roped in to bolster the Pirates’ goalkeeping department ahead of the 2023/24 season, and relishes being part of the stiff competition among the Club’s glovemen.
He lists Uruguay’s veteran goalkeeper Fernando Muslera as one of his biggest idols in football.
