Hailing from Khayelitsha in the Mother City, Xoki impressed while playing amateur football in his hometown and eventually caught the eye of AmaZulu while part of the Old Mutual Academy.
A natural-born leader, the defender arrived at Orlando Pirates with a proven pedigree after an eight-year spell at the Durban-based outfit, where he spent a considerable period donning the captain’s armband.
The player has legendary Brazil defender Tiago Silva at the top of the list of his favourite players and is determined to not only help add to the Soweto Giants’ trophy cabinet but also leave a lasting mark at the Club.
